This is Lib Tech‘s T. Rice C2 BTX Snowboard. That’s right, this is Travis Rice’s professional model snowboard. It is a twin shaped board for your freestyle all-mountain oriented needs. The C2 Power Banana profile is pretty cool. In between your feet there’s reverse camber and underneath your feet there’s actual camber.

If you were to look down the sidewall you’ll notice the Magne Traction. Magne Traction will keep you up on the ice, and keep you floating in the pow. The double sintered ultra-high molecular weighted sidewall is going to be strong and predictable in flex all season long. There’s also internal power transfer rods that run inside the sidewall as well. Now, what makes this board so lively is the horse-powered core and “glass” that it has in it.

There’s Columbian Gold Timber that runs from tip to tail, but inserted of having traditional fiberglass it actually has basalt, which is volcanic rock fibers that wrap around the wood core. The base is a sintered ultra-high molecular weighted base. It’s going to absorb a lot of wax. It’s going to stay fast all season long. The top sheet is pretty unique as well. It has a metal flake finish to it, kind of shines. But it’s made out of bio-plastic beans and basalt.

Heli-Skiing & Cat-Skiing

British Columbia reigns supreme as one of the world’s foremost heli-skiing and cat-skiing destinations. Heli-skiing was pioneered in British Columbia more than 40 years ago, while cat-skiing was born more than 25 years ago in the Kootenay Rockies region.

Heli-skiing means accessing untouched, remote alpine terrain in a helicopter. Adventurous skiers and boarders know that BC’s huge, consistent snowfalls, cool temperatures and ten massive mountain ranges translates to untouched powder, epic descents and diverse, wild terrain.

Hop in a snowcat and access lower altitude – but still exhilarating – runs. Cat-skiing is generally less expensive than heli-skiing and is often utilized in inclement weather

Alright that’s a bit of hyperbole, but this is hands down the best experience in Colorado if you’re looking for intense runs in deep powder with no crowds. You’ll know if you fit into this crowd if you …

a) don’t mind hiking at 12,000′ to get to amazing runs

 b) scoff at people who brag about the bowls at

c) enjoy experiencing the purest form of something

The unguided lift ticket is fine, but if you want to make the most of your day, I would highly recommend getting a guide. They’ll save you aimless wandering time and get you right to the areas you want to go to.
Also, get there a little bit early because you have to sign a few waivers before you hit the backcountry!

INDOOR SKIING

Saying that you’ve been skiing (or better still, learned to ski) on real snow in a desert is something few holiday destinations offer. In Dubai, however, things are different and Ski Dubai has become a firm favourite among tourists and locals alike. Set in a huge indoor snow centre in Mall of the Emirates (meaning you can combine skiing and shopping), Ski Dubai has a frankly enormous ski slope (made from fresh snow produced each day), plus a snow park for the kids

Whistler Mountain has 7 powder filled black diamond bowls, steep double black chutes in the upper areas, fantastic tree skiing and snowboarding, exciting mogul fields, leg burning tree lined carving trails and linked groomed intermediate and beginner trails.

Whistler Mountain is a fantastic free riders mountain.  The steep and deep West Bowls are amazing after good powder falls as is the terrain around the Garbonzo Chair for tree skiing and snowboarding.

The Symphony Amphitheatre, one of Whistler Mountain’s favourite inbounds back country terrain spots, was previously only accessible by hiking.  The 2007 winter season saw the Symphony Express Chairlift installed giving high speed access to over 1000 acres of intermediate and advanced terrain. Named for the areas natural theatre like setting the new trails have been named accordingly Rhapsody Bowl, Encore Ridge, Adagio and Flute Bowl.

Breckenridge Co

A Mecca for the Park & Pipe Set

Over the past few years, Breckenridge has turned itself into a terrain park mecca. Given the number of pro skiers and riders that call the Summit County area home, this isn’t surprising, but what’s most impressive about Breck’s parks is the way they’re laid out. There’s a very clear, very obvious delineation between the beginner (small), intermediate (medium), advanced/expert (large), and pro-level (you current on your health and life insurance?) parks. This strategy is not only safer for all involved, but also serves to help all the non-professional skiers and riders progress at a reasonable pace; in other words, you don’t have to worry about going from a five-foot flat box set flush in the ground to a 40-foot single-barrel handrail ten feet off the ground. Progression is the name of the game when it comes to Breck’s parks.I’ve never been accused of being the sharpest edge on a board, and I’ve hit some big ol’ park features in my day, but even on a perfect spring-day with soft, cushy landings, I was ready to hit the monster three-jump line in the Freeway terrain park. Don’t quote me on this, but I’d estimate the first jump at around 50-55 feet (15-16 meters), the second jump slightly bigger, and the third jump at something nuts – minimum 70, maybe closer to 85 feet (21-25 meters). Nevertheless, the features are well built, well maintained, If you think you can throw down in the park, head to Breck. You’ll know where you stand almost instantly.

The Mountain

 Spread over four mountain peaks, the resort has something for everyone. Novice trails make up 15% of the mountain (nearly 600 acres), and beginners will delight in skiing trails like Four O’Clock, which runs almost from top to bottom (at 3.5 miles long ), it’s the longest run on the mountain).At 64%, or just over 1,500 acres, intermediate and advanced riders have the majority of the mountain to play on. Cruising down Country Boy on Peak 9, Claimjumper or Alpine Alley on Peak 8, or Wirepatch over on Peak 7 is a blast. Those that dream of following a groomer down the hill can take solace in the fact that Breck grooms early and often, ensuring silky-smooth corduroy is in effect whenever the mood strikes.Experts will be downright giddy standing atop Breckenridge, especially on a powder day (and with an average annual snowfall that approaches 25 feet, powder days are plentiful). Riding off the top of the Imperial Express, both Peak 7 Bowl and Horseshoe Bowl are easily accessed and offer heart-pounding pitches, ample opportunity for air, and the wide-open experience that bowls have always offered. Of course, in the name of diversity, not  the experts at Breck seek out the high terrain above the trees. The mountain offers plenty of thrills down low, too!

What about lift lines, you ask?  Breck’s uphill capacity of 40,680 riders per hour means that wait times are manageable (longest we waited was maybe 7 minutes), even during the busiest times.

Meadows

The runs are great and there are plenty for all skill levels.  Overall Parks are great. Lifts are quick. Runs are nice. Heathers canyon and Private Reserve are amazing for double black diamonds, Its always powder over there. Trees are awesome! Powder days are amazing! Also You got 200+ acres of night skiing, And its all good terrain. Go here if you like good powder terrain and a good 3 mile run! There’s honestly nothing to dislike about this Resort. Stop being debbie downers ride meadows.
